That’s right, the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California is now offering vegetarian and vegan options for their guests so they can munch on much more than just lettuce!
Disney chefs have created a wide selection of tasty dishes that will please even the most discerning visitor.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner just got a lot more compassionate with meals that are both delicious and cruelty-free!
Last year, one of the fastest growing trends in the US was going vegan.
And it is no wonder that a progressive organization such as The Walt Disney Corporation would recognize the fact that many people are now adapting a meat-free diet.
With this in mind, Disney chefs worked to create menus that range from light to hearty and offer a wide variety of meatless options throughout Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park.
We welcomed the opportunity to visit Disneyland during their 60th Anniversary Celebration to see and taste the many meatless options available. Our first stop was breakfast at the Plaza Inn on Main Street, USA.
Here, we had a vegan meal of golden hash browns and vegan mini Mickey waffles!
Also on Main Street USA is the infamous Carnation Caf‚àö¬© where Walt Disney often stopped for breakfast himself.
They offer a vegetarian breakfast that includes apple-granola pancakes, huevos rancheros, and fire-roasted salsa with avocado-black bean pico del gallo.
For lunch, they also have a juicy Chef’s Vegan Burger and fries that are both hearty and filling, perfect for an exciting day in the park!
