Are there any other models who came before you that you look up to and why?
Darian:
Today, most successful models are extremely lucky to be born into well-known, famous families who provide their best support and connections for them (and most likely deliver it on a silver platter).
However, the models that I truly admire and look up to are those who came from nothing and have struggled their way up by working hard and making their own connections. These women are the strongest.
One of them is my fellow Russian supermodel, Natalia Vodianova. She is my role model. Her great modeling carrier didn’t stop her from having a beautiful family. She is a proud mom of 5, and she also gives back. She has charitable foundations that help children from all over the world.

That’s wonderful! We admire that even at this young age you know the importance of giving back. What charities are close to your heart and why?
Darian:
I am currently donating my efforts to a few charitable foundations. One of them supports children from orphanages, especially those who are 10 years of age and older. These children have little chance of getting adopted. This organization concentrates on giving every child guidance, attention and the support that they deserve.
