Add a little fun 70’s vintage flair to your look with this unique headband featuring your granny’s clip on earrings! Ahhhh just give it a chance….it’s actually super cute!

This is a creative way to use Grandma’s vintage clip on earrings you inherited but have no idea what to do with! I came up with this idea idea one day going through my jewelry left to me by my grandmother (true story). I LOVED the clip-ons but couldn’t wear them because they killed my ears, so I got creative. All you need is strip of leather cording which you can order online or get from your local fabric/craft store. Make sure it’s long enough to wrap around your head the desired number of times, then get crazy with the clip-ons! You can cluster multiple earrings or use just one. Play with the positioning of them too. Your funky headband is sure to get tons of compliments 😉

My passion and love for fashion and all things femme started at a very young age. Of course young girls always have someone to look up to growing up and for me (as silly as it may sound) it was my grandmother! I’m telling you this woman was the ultimate fashionista. So much in fact that I still have on at least one piece of hers on everytime I leave the house. You’ll come to notice that I have an endless passion for all things vintage and now you’ll understand why! My fashion sense and style was also heavily influenced by the years of modeling I did in my teens growing up. I frequented NYC and also travelled to Japan to pursue a career in the industry. Although I eventually chose academia over the glamour of the modeling industry the fashion tips and advice that I took away from that industry are invaluable. That brings me to where I am today! A recent graduate of The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA, I am currently working on my swimwear line “Lela Pearce” and writing for my personal blog Blonde and Hound as well as contributing as Fashion Editor for Viva Glam Magazine! I am very excited and honored to be sharing my personal fashion advice, tips, and picks with you through Viva Glam Magazine. In the words of the infamous Coco Chanel, “Fashion fades, only style remains the same”. I hope Viva Glam Magazine can help encourage new looks and ideas for your personal style!
