Best Romantic Weekend Trips for Valentine’s Day

Where should YOU go this Valentine’s Day?

It might be hard to believe, but Valentine’s Day is around the corner!  This year, make it a romantic weekend like none other for you and your partner. But where should you go and what should you do to celebrate this holiday weekend? Here are some fun and easy ways to make Valentine’s Day a celebration you both won’t forget.

Las Vegas, Nevada

It has been said, Las Vegas is for lovers, and this is a town that goes 24/7.  If you and your hubby are into night life and non-stop action, this is the place for you! Enjoy world-class shows, premiere dining, or just lay out by the pool to get a tan. If you are staying in an upscale hotel, why not book a couple’s massage and facial together?  Let’s face it, you’ll never run out of things to do in Las Vegas!

New York City, New York

New York is the city that never sleeps. Here you can enjoy everything including ethnic food in one of its many boroughs, world renown museums, and Broadway shows. Or have a romantic picnic in Central Park! Don’t forget to leave time to window shop along Park Avenue and in Soho.

Napa Valley, California

Exploring wine country together is the perfect way to spend Valentine’s weekend. Indulge in stellar wine and organic, environmentally sustainable meals here. If you love adventure, take a balloon ride over the valley! This is a place to relax, unwind, and appreciate all that nature has to offer.

 The Bahamas

Take a weekend cruise from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the Bahamas. Snorkel, swim, and enjoy the beautiful weather that is warm even in February!

Orlando, Florida

If you both love amusement parks, this is the city for you! Visit Epcot, Disneyworld, Discovery Cove, Disney Springs, and so much more! But you’ll need more than a weekend to do everything in Orlando so if you can afford to take a week off, DO IT.

Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

If you and your hubby like to take a walk on the wild side, why not visit Costa Rica!  The Manuel Antonio National Forest is the ideal place to hike, explore, and see wildlife up close and personal! Hire a guide who will take you to places where you can observe agouti, howler monkeys, crocodiles, sloths, and coatimundi in their natural environment.

Ojai, California

Ojai has long been known to be a charming artist’s community that borders the Los Padres National Forest. If you both like appreciating art, music, and food, this is the ideal place for you. Check into a bed and breakfast and escape the hustle and bustle of your busy life.

Aspen, Colorado

Skiing is still going strong in February in Aspen, Colorado. If you enjoy the slopes, this is the premiere place to show off your snow bunny skills. Don’t ski? No worries! Sit by a romantic fireplace with hot cocoa or a hot toddy and let romance begin.

Whether or not you think Valentine’s Day is a major holiday, taking the time to celebrate your love with your partner is essential for a good partnership. Show appreciation for each other by getting away from the hustle and bustle and take some time to just be yourselves.
